297RSTS Lug Nut Size
I'm trying to get equipped to change a tire in a pinch, if necessary. Looking for a socket size that fits the wheel lugs, it appears that the 19mm metric size fit the best. Didn't expect the lug nuts to be metric sizes. Does that jive with you guys?

A 3/4" SAE socket works on our 2017 Reflection.

I think 19 mm and 3/4 inch are real close to same size. Do you have a torque wrench? It is necessary to check torque frequently

I use a 3/4" six point socket. I check the torque when the unit is received with a torque wrench, then at 25 and 50 miles. It always seems that one or two are slightly loose to start with. Then I check them every week or so, but after the first 50 miles, they seem to be pretty well set.

19 mm is .002" (two thousandths of an inch) less than 3/4". Thus, the two sockets are essentially the same. If there has been any wear to the lug nut, the 19 mm will probably fit better. Important to use a 6 point socket and not a 12 because the lug nuts are stainless steel clad. A 12 point socket will tear off the cladding.

Yep, I need to pickup a torque wrench. The 19mm seemed to fit the lugs a bit more snug than the 3/4 in socket. However, I need to go back and make sure both were a 6 point socket. Thanks for all the replies.
