Flipped axles
I am trying to gain a little ground clearance as I have to be real carful going over an ant hill.
Was wondering if anybody has "flipped" the axles and if so any problems or successes?
or any other suggestions.
Thanks,

If you upgrade to independent suspension you will get rid of the axels

If they weren't flipped already, you wouldn't want to do it anyway. You would exceed 13'6" in height.

Treating the ant hill would be MUCH cheaper than any mods on the trailer, anyway.

I recently had 1” blocks added Under my leaf springs and above the axle to raise my trailer 1” We also used new i bolts and hardware that’s stronger than stock. Worked perfect.

Do a search on this forum for “Rollers on 376TH”. Many of use have installed heavy duty rollers on the rear. Instead of dragging the frame, the rollers well get you out of a tight situation. Saved my butt more than once.

Also, remember the 376TH has a drop frame in the rear of the RV making it much lower than other toy hauler models.
