Re: Lighting Issues
When I talked to the factory, they have discovered the problem with the lights! They wanted me to post on the forum that it is a known issue, and that they will replace the bad ones, and have rectified the situation moving forward.
Thanks

Re: Lighting Issues
Two answers here:
To remove the ceiling lights, pull on the glass covers with an even tension and they will pop out. It takes some force to pull them off as they are held in position with tension tabs. If you need to completely remove the light, you will need to remove the 3 screws once you have pulled the glass cover off. I replaced the bedroom slide led lights that came on the earlier models with the current lights they are installing in the trailers. I will post a how to if anyone is interested.
Yes, the light switches to the left of the fridge under the cabinet control the pantry light and the light under the cabinet.

Re: Lighting Issues
The two lights next to the fridge are used for the light over the stove and the one in the pantry. That is how mine is set up.
To answer how how you take the light out, you just have to pull down gently on the puck covering the light. It is spring loaded and can be a little tight but if you work it gently it will come out. I turned mine a little and then pulled gently and it came out. Once that is off you just pull the bulb straight out of the socket and you will see the two prongs that you can adjust a little but be careful they are delicate. I just bent them out a touch and then they were tight enough to make contact again. I had to do it a couple of times and then it worked and has been fine since. Hope this helps.
I think they loosen up during travel.

Re: Lighting Issues
The lights that originally came in the bedroom slide were just like the ones throughout the rest of the trailer. They wereway to bright and both had to be on. I noticed in some photos of more recently built trailers that they had replaced those lights with smaller independently controlled adjustable lights. I contacted GD and they confirmed that they had changed the style of lights they were putting there. They offered to send me the new lights to replace my current ones and I accepted. Ths new lights have a smaller footprint so I had to get creative in replacing them. I got them installed and they are 100% better. We can now control them independently which is great for my wife who must read before bed. I can post pics after I get home if anyone is interested.

Re: Lighting Issues
I'd like to see the pictures also. Cill loves to read in bed and I have even thought about taking the bulb out of the fixture on my side of the bed.

Re: Lighting Issues
Dustin, what did you do with the switch? Do you leave it on all the time and use the switch on each light or did you straight wire the switch and put a blank plate over it?
