    Howdy from Texas

New GD Reflection 303RLS owner as of November 2016. Traded in Montana 3295RK to reduce length and weight while getting some desired features in the Grand Design.

Have only camped on the trip from Amarillo (where we bought it from) to home in Fort Worth area. Looking forward to regular camping again.

I'll be adding an independent "smart" battery charger to my 4 x 6v golf batteries (transferred over from the Montana; we do extended dry camping).

I'll be looking at the Mods section for suggestions for solar and inverter additions.

    Glad to be here.

    Björn

Congratulations Björn on the purchase and welcome to the forum.

We picked up our 303RLS on 1 July 2016, just wrapped up our 9th trip in it, mostly 3-day weekends totaling 19 nights. Could not be happier with the trailer. Hope your experience with the trailer is as good as ours has been.

Thanks all. Joined as Site Sponsor as this looks to be an excellent forum.

Putting together my upgrade dream sheet now...already have 4 x Trojan T-105's I transferred over from last RV, but I left the TriMetic battery monitor.

I like to the look of the BVM-700 along with its bluetooth connector. I'm leaning towards Xantrex Freedom Xi 2,000 watt inverter and putting 3 circuits on it: 1. Bedroom recepticles, 2. GFCI receptacles, 3. Entertainment center receptacles. I'm not sure about #3 as that also brings heated recliners and refrigerator onto the circuit. I could force refrig to LP and unplug recliners to avoid battery drain.

After battery monitor and inverter, it will be solar panels.
