charging 6 volt battery

Just to be safe,is it better to charge my 2-- 6 volt battery together as in 12 volts ,, or charge them separate. (6 volt)

I would assume that you are using them connected in series as 12 volts. I would just charge them that way. Safe wise it would not matter.

Being safe is the type of charger you have and what is the charge volts and float volts. You batteries mgr should have that info.

Are you batteries wet or agm?

I have always charged my 6v Trojans as one large 12v system. Prior to my current 5th, I always disconnect the batteries when not using the unit and charged with an external charger to get the stages required for the batteries. Also had a water distribution system which made it easy to keep all those cells topped off. I had a set of 4 6v Trojans in my last TH that lasted for almost 10 years. The new 337's charger appears, based on a very brief scan of the documentation, to be better than what was installed on previous units. Might not need to use my golf cart sized charger...
