School me on battery chargers please

So I have the two Interstate deep cycle batteries out of my camper. They are rated at 690/550 cranking amps. I need a simple automatic battery charger to stick on them over the next 2-3 months until warm weather gets here. Of course here in South Carolina it's been in the 60-70 range since Christmas buts that's unusual. We will have freezing weather by the weekend.
Please suggest a simple automatic charger of reasonable cost. I don't want junk but I don't need the most advanced expensive one out there. Any other charging tips will be appreciated. The batteries are in the garage in a plastic sterlite container to keep them off the concrete floor.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
I'm using this one on my batteries and it seems to be working well.

Agreed, Battery Tenders are my preference. While away, I have 3 in use. 1 on my Jeep, another on the motorcycle and, what I refer to a the BIG ONE, on 2-6v Trojans waiting to me installed on the new 337.

Most are either the 1.25 amp versions or the wall wort versions. I have many as they never seam to die and I always find a need for another.

The BIG ONE is a golf cart version bought off eBay. Can't recall but it is either 10 or 20 amps. Have been using it to keep the Trojans charged as the previous TT internal battery chargers lacked the ability to equalize. I could "fake" a brief equalization cycle the BIG ONE - it can reach 14.5V...

I need to read up on this more, but the unit in the 337 appears to have equalization. Cool!

I keep the battery tender cables on everything- fork lift, tractor, RZR's, trucks, RV, and lawn equipment. They are really the best thing you can invest in to keep your batteries in good shape.

    my two cents,
do you want to go the cheep route or the good route that is the question. yes battery tenders work i also have used them for many vehicles and motorcycles BUT the better way is the SMART charger. i use NOCO Genius. Here is a link. the batteries you have are very expensive and they will last many years if maintained properly. i have the a smart charger built in to my 5th wheel and keep it on continuously.
