2018 Ram 2500 4X4 CREW CAB Big Horn. It doesn't lose just some pin weight, it loses a lot of pin weight, depending how you load it. Trust me, I know exactly what I am talking about. I am there and doing it, with out any troubles what so ever. All within the vehicles specs.

It also under the GCWR………..so what's the problem?
I responded regarding a 350m, you're towing a 320g. What exactly is your loaded pin weight? What is your payload capacity as shown on your door jamb? Scale weights? I may not "no" what I'm talking about so enlighten us with the facts.
I'm by no means a member of the weight police, just curious.

I'm not doubting the numbers, but they seem strange. If I'm reading the data correctly your empty truck is 8740. Yet, with the trailer loaded your truck is only 10,420 (which is 420lbs over GVWR) which means a pin weight of 1,680lbs. What seems strange is that your trailer weighs in at 14,140 so I would have expected the pin weight to be something much closer to 3,000lbs. Very strange.

I've weighted it more the once. I've drove 2000 mile to Arizona and it pulls and stopped as expected. Heres another scale reading after I rearranged some things.

Which model do you tow with your 2500 diesel???

My diesel 3/4 ton has nearly the exact same ccc as billdean’s yet my trailer weighs almost 5,000# less than his.
My truck scales at 10,500 (500 over weight) and my pin is 1,900#.
I can’t imagine adding another 5k# to the trailer.

I've weighted the truck/trailer combo 2 different times. It's a toy hauler. Any weight behind the trailer axial reduces the pin weight, quite a bit as I have found out. Other say weight behind the axial doesn't reduce pin weight, or if it does only a little. Well, it's been weighed 2 times at 2 different scales. Both scales are not wrong. Putting weight behind the trailer axial does reduce pin weigh, and by a lot. The trailers GVWR is 16,800 pounds.

    What is a trailer axial?
    Do you mean trailer axle?
I thought it was a typo but you spelled it that way 3 times.
Are you using that dang speech to text?
That never works right on mine.

I have pulled a Reflection 303 with a 2005 2500 Duramax many thousands of miles. It has handled well and has plenty of power. I know many who pull larger 5th wheels with a 3/4 ton truck. I recently purchased a 2020 GMC 3500 SRW. It pulls the 303 very easily and I would now feel comfortable moving up to a Solitude.
