    2500RL AC Unit Power

I know there's a lot of discussion here about generators, but really haven't seen anything that tells me what size generator is needed to power everything simultaneously. Considering purchasing either two Champion 2000 watt generators or one 3100 watt...will both this power the AC Unit, microwave, coffee maker, and charge phones at the same time?

To do more than just the a/c you will need more power than the units that you listed. Take a look at the Yamaha EF4500ise. 4000W continous and 4500W peak. You can also buy an optional remote. I have had this unit for 3 years.

It produces 33 Amps. Your a/c takes around 15 Amps. Microwave usually around 8 Amps. Coffee maker another 5 Amps. These three appliances put you at 28A leaving you a few extra for charging the phones, watching TV, etc. You will have to run the water heater and fridge on propane. Once you get done cooking breakfast you can probably put the water heater and fridge back on electrical power.

The two parallel Champions are only 3400W (4000W peak) produce 28 Amps so your ac, coffeemaker and microwave would max it out.

You could also look at an old fashioned percolator to sit on the cook top. Either that or make the coffee first and put it in a thermal carafe. Then fire up the microwave.
