We too passed on the coating, especially after researching and reading the negative reports.
We have a year to decide on the extended warranty, and will probably go with it as we near the anniversary of our purchase date.

Skip the coating , use scotch guard on the inside and what ever wax/sealant on the outside .

You can buy everything you need for under a hundred dollars .

The majority of the price the dealer charges is for the warranty .

Read the fine print , there is usually a bunch of loopholes for them not to pay on claims .

Agree with everyone above. We took a wait and see attitude on the extended warranty. So far everything we have found have been things we can fix ourselves; have a blind to restring sometime on our current trip.

Good decision on the tires. I coordinated with Micah Staley to get the mod so the 16" tires fit. Our dealer was reluctant to order wheels and tires so we swapped the ones from our trade in.
