I have Dewalt and Milwaukee 3/8" and 1/2" impacts. My newest Milwaukee 3/8" mid torque now gets most of the use. It will do 600 lb ft and it's lighter than my 1/2 versions.
I use it around the shop extensively. I carry the 1/2" DW in the F350 and the 1/2" Milwaukee in the F150. If I ever need more than the mid torque 3/8" will do I just walk over to one of the trucks and get one.
In the F350 I also carry cordless drill, grinder, and flashlight..
I see no difference in quality or how they work between the DW and MilwaukeeDonald AKA johndeerefarmer

I wouldn’t trust a torque stick for final torque. It’s great to set 2nd stage torque below final spec then use a torque wrench to do final torque
I run my lugs in by hand all the way, then use a 90 lb torque stick for second round then do a final torque to 120 ft/lbs with a mechanical torque wrench.
Here is a link to the “official” specs and procedures. https://gdrv4life.granddesignrv.com/...eel-nut-torque
120 ft/lbs final torque covers all 14, 15 and 16” wheels.Last edited by Jerryr; 09-25-2021 at 04:10 PM.

I agree torque stick is just to get close and final should always be a torque wrench by hand. Right now I only do 100 on my 16" rims with 1/2 studs (chart shows 90-120). Maybe I should bump up a bit, but so far no issues. 100 is what Discount Tire said to use when they put my new 16" wheels and tires on.

My 50 year old S-K 1/2 inch 150 ft/lbs beam wrench isn't going to cut it any more. Guess I'll need to upgrade. Hope GD is using bolts and not flange nuts with the 17.5" wheels....
