TST Flow thru or Cap?
Want to get the TST TPMS when we get our XLS22RBE, i see they have the Flow thru style and the cap sensor style. My question is, is one better than the other, easy to use or more accurate? This will be our first TT so no experience with these on a trailer.

I've read that flow-through was slower to fill. IDK, I have the caps.

Caps are good. Unless it’s stored in a bad location, just take the security covers off and it’s no more difficult than taking standard caps off.

TST is an excellent system! Although, the flow-thru sound great, I went with the caps. I recall several review issues such as slow fill and a longer stem with greater chance of damage. I'm very happy with the caps.
Whatever you get, make sure that you have the metal valve stems rather than rubber. Rubber stems can wear/leak due to the cap size catching more wind and creating stem movement (wiggle).2019 GD Imagine 2600RB

Ive used TST for several years on different trailers and now use them on my F450. The flow thru are definitely SLOW fill but will release air normally. I use the caps on my fronts and the flow thru on the rear duals. Caps are definitely easier to use if the valve stem is easily accessible. I removed the "security" cover off the caps for easy removal. Accuracy will be the same for both, it just comes down to which one works for your situation.

Hi all - I found this discussion via search. Just had this exact same question on flow thru vs cap. Are the flow thru types large enough to be concerned with the wheels they're putting on Solitudes? And I thought the metal valve stems are only needed w/ the flow thru and not cap style. Any more thoughts? Thanks!

TST is an excellent system and has been serving us well. We have the caps and they work just fine.

I moved from TST caps to TST flow thru's several years ago. They work great and the batteries are easy to change. Makes checking the air pressure really easy before I move the trailer out of storage.

This! Definitely change out your valve stem. I have used the caps for about three years and have had no issues. I like them because they seem to be shorter than the flow through. Batteries lasted 2 years. Also when changing the batteries get their o ring kit and change them. Half of mine split when I took the cap apart.
