I really can't complain for a backyard campsite. Very peaceful atmosphere. This is the view you get at night

I also live in what is considered a fairly dark sky area. If I pull those zero gravity chairs around to the front yard (which is mostly open to the sky) you can get some good star watching and see the milkway across the sky. (which is the reason we bought the zero gravity chairs)

Also my neighbors are a little ways away and are kewl neighbors. Basically I have no quit time I have to adhere too (within reason volume wise)

Got a pad made for the camper with red gravel base and dense grade cap. Carport is ordered, maybe it won’t take too long to get.

Where did you order you Carport from? I've been thinking of also getting one, specially for the winter month for added protection.

Looks like your spot is coming along. I thought about a carport but it's a tight squeeze to the backyard and not sure I could swing it into a carport if I put one back there.
