Problem with slides moving out while under way
We have approx. 15000 mi towing our trailer and have never had any major problem until now. While driving our slides have started moving out by as much as 2 inches. I can stop, hit the switch and they move back but after driving, they start going back out. They open right and fit right. No leaks from hydraulic system.
Is there an adjustment for this.
Thanks
Dan

Can't help with a fix but if you are on the road, stop at a Home Depot or Lowes and have them cut a 2x4 so that it fits between the wall and slideout. That will keep the slideout from moving while underway.
Suggest you call either your dealer or GD and see what they say. Please post your findings so the rest of us know what the issue is in case one of us shares your bad luck.

My cousin has a Keystone Carbon and they just received a recall notice for this exact thing. They too use Lippert components, but from the notice can't tell if manufacturer defect or Lippert.

Ok, a couple of things. I've got that same problem with mine right now. I'm at the rally right now, lippert came by and checked mine out. It's going in Thursday for the fix. The hydrolic ram is having an inside the ram leak (hence no sign of fluid anywhere. And DON'T put a piece of 2x4 between the slide and the wall. I thought that would be a good temporary fix and did just that. The slide still had to much pressure and crept out anyway, pushing the facing of the slide out about 2". DON'T DO IT

Faced with a slide out that may continue to migrate out and fall out when moving down the road, I'll take my chances with trim work being compromised.

I checked the valves and ghe are open. The last time we traveled, from OKC to Houston, I watched and took my finger off of the button as soon as the slides were closed. In the past I have bumped it to make sure they were closed tight. They seemed to stay in better than before. Next time we move I will do this again and report back.
