Thanks for the heads up. Smell is not near the batteries though but will keep this in my hip pocket for the future

I'm also not certain how the kitchen gray tank smells so bad. With the amount of soapy water going in there from doing dishes I figured it would be spick and span

Not so much of an upgrade as just a direct replacement. You shouldn't need to change out an air admittance valve unless it's gone bad. However, it's a great idea to have a replacement AAV on hand just in case, to keep a camping trip from being spoiled.

You can find pictures of some parts on the parts lookup section of the Grand Design website:

I will order one to have on hand. Thanks for the information

ID:	21045ey did have a few different types. We did have to saw about 1/2 below the one that was there and put this on. We have not had a sewer smell again.

I have a new Imagine 2400BH and I have this issue with the kitchen sink, it's bad. There is no AAV in the kitchen sink and we have the dual gray tanks. Any advice?

    Stinky Sinky

There should be a self contained venting device. Occasionally ours makes a bit of a sucking sound when draining the sink.
We have a Reflection 337RLS 5th wheel, but, if I have the vent in the bathroom open it gets stinky fast. I realized that the vent pipe for the gray and black tanks is just outside of the motorized fan vent. It seems to cause the gasses to be sucked into the trailer. Once it is closed we dont have an issue.

Also, gray water can smell just as bad as black. the Changing Lanes YouTube channel has a video about adding a cleaner to the gray water that make a huge difference.

    Good Luck
