Eternabond Roof Sealant Tape

I have both. The wall paper roller falls apart when trying to apply the amount of pressure that eternabond needs for a proper install. It simply won't work for this application.

I suppose it depends on the quality of wall paper roller one uses. I used it and it worked fine. The Eternabond doesn't need a ton of pressure , if the surface is well prepared, it sticks like crazy, and the roller doesn't require a ton of pressure.

The Eternabond company has a 7:22 video on YouTube on how to remove Eternabond if you you need to, and then how to apply it. It didn't look like the technician was getting after it with a lot of pressure by any means.

Nope...in fact if the surface is well prepped, as soon as you lay it down, good luck removing it, and that's before applying any type of pressure at all.

Yes there are no second chances. I find it helpful to use a pencil and put some guide marks on the roof to help in alignment of the patch. Also put the patch on with one smooth movement working from one side of the patch to the other to reduce the chance of wrinkles.

The technician in the Eternabond video was pulling off with no problem using a heat gun. Then again, the stuff had probably been on that trailer for a while.

Be carful using heat. The membrane material is thin .032”, and May not like too much heat.
