Did you have a second AC or vent covers added or anything else that would raise the height? Other than not being level, that should not occur on a travel trailer.

Oh no,,, I was just asking... am I ok with trusting what manufacturer specs are or do I actually need to measure? Specs for my 2500 say height is 11'2"...

As the saying goes... Trust but verify

I would be more concerned with 5th wheels that are close to max height (13' 6") but it never hurts to make sure. Mistakes happen.

Get a truckers height stick https://www.truckntow.com/quickclick...o-15-feet.html

I have one and also find it handy if I have questions on clearance in camping spots.

Yup...if you pull two inches nose high...add a couple inches.
I'm willing to bet everyone who has measured their trailer height is within an inch of published height...or measured wrong.
Similarly, if you see a bridge height sign that says 12'6", assume 12'4"...they may have added a layer of pavement using up an inch or two of available height.

But no thread on trailer height would be complete without...

You are correct, no topic like this would be complete without that infamous bridge!
