trailer mud flaps
Has anyone installed mud flaps behind the rear tires of their trailer? There is a frame support which looks to be a good candidate to support the flaps. One the drivers side there are some hoses but rubber flaps could be cut to fit I suppose. Looking into this to try and keep the dump area cleaner and the back of the trailer cleaner in general.
Thanks for any help,
Tom

Tanda62, Could you please tell me the type and model number GD you have?
I have thought about doing this more than once. My thoughts was to do only the street side to protect the drain pipe as you have stated. With only doing a casual look up under the wheel well, it did not appear to be an easy mount without doing some modifications to mount a flap to. I have a 3 axle Momentum.2018 Momentum 376TH

I have an Imagine XLS 22RBE.
I was thinking something like this
might work I just am not sure what is behind the frame on the drivers side. It looks like a tank is there so drilling is out of the question although there is a lip of the frame where something could be mounted to hold a bar which the mud flap could then hang from.
I also thought something like this
could be used. Bolt the top to this area
and then use some clips to attach the flap to the down tubing.

Sorry for not responding back. I’ve been on the road all week heading to the Vegas Rally.
Keep updating on on your progress. I really like to add a flap on the driver side at least. I’m going to get my thoughts base upon on what you are able to figure out.2018 Momentum 376TH

No worries enjoy the Rally.
I have contacted Grand Design to see if they might have some ideas before doing any drilling of the frame myself and will keep you apprised.

Those look great but how would they mount? It looks like there is a tank right behind the frame on the drivers side of my camper preventing any drilling for attaching these. The passenger side seems to be empty behind the frame so these would work on that side no problem. Of course the drivers side is the side with the sewer and is really the reason for installing the flaps.
Thanks for the input Kevin.
