But no worries... I installed vent covers on all 3 vents and due to the arch of the roofline the middle one, the bathroom vent cover, sticks up a few inches higher than the AC.
I would guesstimate this height to be 12’. Then I installed an extension antenna on the ladder which when lowered sits a few inches higher than the bathroom vent cover. I measured from the ground to the top of the antenna and got 12’4”.
I took this measurement when the trailer was hooked up. So far the lowest bridge I have seen in the 10 states and 8,000 miles I’ve towed was 13’6”.

    Dave,

Do you have any pictures of you antenna pole? I was wanting to do something similar.

That would be a no. When the slide is closed, there is about a 6" or less space.

It's homemade and not really all that tall. It sticks up about 6 feet higher than the roof.
There are 2 poles. The base is a 1.5" dia 8 foot pole that I attached to the ladder using 75# zip ties.
I have a 1.25" dia pole that slides up or down inside the larger diameter pole.
I drilled holes every foot or so through both poles so I can adjust the height using a single 3" long bolt but ideally this would be a cotter pin.
I paid about $15 for the parts at a hardware store because I didn't want to cough up $125+ for the "nice" telescoping flag poles I've seen online.

Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.
