F250 to F350 Gas Mileage
For those of you who switched from 3/4 ton to 1 ton truck, what gas mileage are you getting now assuming you did not switch the RV.
I was getting around 11 MPG with my F250 when towing and 18 MPG when not towing.
I have not tried towing with my F350 yet.2020 Reflection 337RLS

If the two trucks are very similar, such as having the same final drive ratio, similarly equipped, and same bed size, there should be no difference. The only real differences between the 250 and 350 is a heavier rear spring package and possibly the tire/wheel package.

I went from a 6.4L F250 to a 6.7L F350 dually...before I went to a heavier trailer. I was getting about 2mpg better with the 350. That was when the 350 was new. I'm probably doing better now, but haven't checked for a year or two... Didn't buy it for the mileage.

Just dont let ford reflash the computer. We have a 2016 F450 with the 6.7. Due to an injector problem, Ford replaced all the injectors and they said they had to reflash the computer as part of the service. We went from 19mpg empty and 14mpg towing, to 12mpg empty and 8 to 9mpg while towing. Ford says it's part of their mandatory compliance for smog, think like Volkswagen. I have sence found out there is a lawsuit on going for many years of the 6.7 engine build. The lawsuit is even talking buy back like Volkswagen had to do.
