We are heading out this morning & I'll give it a try on my rig this afternoon, I have the same set up as you, all my 12v is shut off with a master switch and I have the PI EMS system.

No error codes. Shut off the 12v supply. Connected the 50 amp service let it run for 10 mins. I wonder if it's an old code and needs to be cleared out??

Thank you for checking, I will test from a different source and see if that could be the case. I will also look into clearing the codes, but I don't recall it from the last time I was hooked to another shore power source. Thanks again and enjoy your trip!

Waking this thread from the dead because I just got the PE7 error on my HW-50C.

We've been plugged into 30 amps in a park for weeks and the power was not stellar there (not reliable, throwing the breaker randomly - usually under very low loads - and voltage fluctuating sometimes as high as 125 volts which the campground owner was boasting about as though it was a good thing!) Our HW-50C was probably working hard a lot of the time... so glad we have it.

Despite the history above everything seemed normal the past couple of days and was running OK when I unplugged to head home. Plugged into a 15 amp circuit at home that I've used often for the trailer, heard the protector start up, click off, and then start up again, twice, and saw the PE7 error.

Could this be related to previous errors from the park's sketchy power or something to be concerned about at home?

    Thx.

The "P" in front of the error code just means "Previous" i.e. not current. This would be from the last time it was lugged in. remove power and plug in again and the PE will be gone.

The E-7 error is "line frequency high"

    That is all I know.
