I've always been a Ford or Dodge guy. I've had Ford F150's, Dodge half tons, a Dodge Challenger, a Mustang.
In 2004 I bought a new Ford F250 6.0L diesel for rv'ing with the bigger trailer we bought. That POS broke down every week or two. In the RV parks everybody with Cummins trucks seemed to be very happy with their truck. So on my last rv trip with the F250 the turbo blew up for the fourth time. After I got home I took it to the dealer and had it fixed under warranty. After I picked it up I drove straight over to the Dodge dealer and traded it in on a Cummins 3500. That 3500 never went in the garage for a warranty issue once. It just kept running.
I replaced it in 2018 with another 3500. Had it a little over two years. So far just oil changes. No issues.
I still like Mustangs (not the electric one), but I'm not buying another one of their diesel trucks. Sorry Tx Fivver, other than your truck preference, you seem cool. lol.

We have a gmc 3500 srw Denali and love it. If we have to go to a dually it would be the Ford F450. That turning radius is so much better that would be enough to get me to go to the 450. There are more reasons though look at the difference on how they are built. The 450 has a bigger frame heavier front end parts and bigger brakes. Overall it is a sturdier safer truck. We took the GMC dually for a ride and didn't care for the ride or turning radius. I used to test drive the Dodge trucks and could never get used to their mirrors. If I was going down a narrow road with cars parked on both sides I felt lie I needed to put the mirrors in. Again about the turning radius. When parking a trailer off a narrow lane being able to make a tight turn would be appreciated.

Will any tire shop work on them? Do you have to buy them from a special dealer? Another question I had was the ride compared to the F350 unloaded? Negligible difference or is it like riding a buckboard down railroad tracks? back up assist too huh? If i can find one I'll take it for a spin. Thanks!
Don't fear commercial tires. They're actually MORE EASILY serviced because there are mobile tire service everywhere to keep the commercial truckers moving 24/7/365!

You saw my biggest point in the other thread.

Personally, I was a GM truck loyalist for decades always having at least a pair... For the last decade, and outside of my classics, I've had RAMs and my current daily driver is a 5th Gen Crew Cab, Long Bed, Hemi, 4x4 with 3.92s, and the tow beast is the 4th Gen noted in my signature.

LOL! Nope. The rest of the HDT crowd hangs out elsewhere, even with GD's dragging behind!

LOL thanks! I agree with you 100% about the 6.0, that was a real turd for sure. The 6.7 is a whole different animal though. I do love these spirited who makes the best truck threads though, they're fun lol! I do promise to never start a "what's the best oil thread?" though, OMG those go downhill fast!!
