"Must have", not if you are careful, take a bit of time and just get used to the amount of clearance you have. I can turn about 70 degrees without anything hitting and that's good enough for me. I'm using a B&W turnover ball with companion hitch.
I have been towing 5th wheel for 10 years now with a short bed F350 and have no issues. I have had to make tight turns with no issue. I have a Pull Rite slider and would not own another hitch. That shorter wheelbase makes a big difference when backing into places. And if you get a factory puck system the hitch and brackets are completely removable. My opinion

The truck also has the 11,500 GVRW package and I thought this would give it more payload or again am I missing something. Attachment 29164

Which F 250 are you comparing it to? If everything is the same and you can get a 10,800 package in an F250 it is 700# more, that's 20%. I bet the F350 doesn't cost 20% more!

And a wider front track that will turn almost 10' inside a F350!

A comparably equipped F350 versus F250 is less than $500 more. That’s all

Exactly. The main thing you want is the higher GVWR on the door plate

    Hi,

We tow our 32BHS with a new 2020 F-250 6.7 with tow, camper and 10800# packages. Our payload is 3103#. As you might imagine, the truck has no problems pulling the TT and tongue weight, payload are more than enough for us. Love the 32BHS and the new F-250's. 1050 ft lb feels like it can tow an aircraft carrier.

My 2015 F350 is 440 HP and 860 torque and it does not breathe heavy when pulling hills towing our trailer. I pull a 3 mile long 6% grade in central PA and I have to take my foot out of the accelerator as I will continue gaining speed going up the hill. I am grossing about 22500 and absolutely no issue so the new ones will show even less effort. These trucks are grossly underrated on what they are capable of doing
