Assuming that is the same with any 2018 (2670MK) that have hookup center. Just didn't want to open it up if not correct. Not in manual.

Please tell me how I get "behind the water heater." I got my 21 BHE in June. I know how to release the pressure on my water heater and drain it, but have no idea how to get behind it to adjust the bypass valves for winterizing. Thanks.

You access the back of the water heater from the left wood panel in the outside kitchen. The panel is held in place by a screw on each side. When you remove the panel the bypass lines are there. Good luck!

I see what looks like a removable panel. There are no screws, it's just wedged in there. But there's a piece of square molding on the compartment ceiling on the adjacent wall that looks like it would prevent me from removing the panel without destroying it. IClick image for larger version.

The panel on the left is in front of the water heater on my 21BHE. When you remove it you will see the bypass line.

Thanks very much. I figured it was a removable panel, I just don't have any screws. I guess you just pry it out of there very gently to avoid splintering it.

Mine has one screw on the left and right of the panel. Once I removed them, I placed the screwdriver between the top of the panel and ceiling and slowly pulled the panel toward me. It came out relatively easy. Hope this helps.

Hi Folks, To add a question on weatherization/storage...should i leave water in the toilet to keep the seal from drying out or should I spray it with silicone spray?
