    Need some help with a Maxx Air fan 7500 deluxe

    We're getting a beep about every minute when the fan tries to open but doesn't. The fan still opens and runs when you hit the remote. Batteries are good...we have a second Maxx Air 7500 fan in the kitchen and it's not do this.

    Any thoughts?

    I'm a bit confused, Red. You say "... when the fan tries to open but doesn't" and "... the fan still opens and runs..." These statements seem counter to each other. Can you clarify for me, please?

    Sorry Rob. The fan opens and runs when you use the remote. But when not using the remote it tries (or seems to) open, that is when it just beeps, but it kooks like it is trying to spin the knob.

    Ok I think I've got it. It was the auto fan mode causing it to beep.

    If the knob is spinning and the door doesn’t open then the operator has failed. Common issue. The operator is on national backorder and according to MaxxAir they have 2800 on the way from overseas. ETA is unknown because last order was held up at the port for 6 weeks.

    Call Airxcel (MaxxAir) for technical support and parts ordering.

    The knob is not spinning. The operator is working. The lift motor is working. It might be the control board...who knows.
