    Order Change to F350

Just got back from the Dealership to change the order and pick up a copy of the spec sheet. I kept the Camper Package and after more research and talking with foiks that didnt have it and now have it I am pretty crystal clear now on it.

It does Not add an auxillary spring to the rear,(F350 already has it) (Only in the F250 it does) it does add a one upgrade spring to the front, (Not the Plow Prep HD Suspension) and it does add a stability sway bar in the rear and the Certification of the slide. (Dont care about that bc I never intend to thrown a camper on the bed) For a hundred sixy bucks I think its worth it.

If their is any stiffness in the ride because of this option I believe it would be minimal. Anyway, I was informed today that I most likely will have the truck before the end of the year. Their is one guy ahead of me that ordered at this dealership and his eta is November.

    Cheers !

Better than $160 with X-Plan. Camper pkg is only $146 with X-Plan pricing.

You’re going to be amazed at the difference towing your 2600RB with a F350 diesel.

    Congrats.

I cant thank all you Guys enough, I mean every single one of you that replied to me. I looked and digested ALL of your comments several times before I changed my order as I was really Hell Bent on sticking with the F250. Because of all your comments, you all made me go back to the drawing board and from their it was an easy and logical decision to go F350. The right choice for how I intend to use the Truck and not have to worry about a payload issue !
I will post when I take delivery and it cant come fast enough. As I said we are heading back to the Keys this coming New year and I should be towing the GD2600RB with the new truck. I called Navy Campus to book the last two weeks in Feb however, I was to late as they had already booked everything from December thru Feb. So I will be calling first thing when my exact six months of going there arrives as thats the earliest I can book. I should have the New Truck by then and have the 1000 miles logged before I hitch up my Travel Trailer.
    Again,
    Many Thanks to ALL !!

Here’s my option list from window sticker
Don’t forget that your truck has a gross weight of 10800. The more junk you put into it the less payload Adding heavier springs will reduce your payload not add to it. Your payload is 10800- the weight of the truck

I have a 2020 F250 Crew Cab 4wd Lariat Tremor Edition with the moonroof and heavy duty tow package. GVWR is 10800 and the payload on the sticker is 2649 lbs. Towing a Reflection 150 295RL I am within 120lbs of max GVWR.

My recommendation would be to get an F-350....you might want to tow a larger trailer. i suspect the cost will not be that much more.

He (FedMill) Changed his order from a 350 to a F350 CCSB, so his “gross”, GVWR is 12,500 lbs. His truck will weigh about 8000 lbs as delivered. He will have around 3400-3500 lbs of payload from the factory.
