Thanks for all of the great information. It looks like I can expect 1.0 to 1.5 MPG less with the bigger trailer. Now I just need to get my current trailer sold.

Hi Dale, we have a 337rls and tow with and F-350 6.7 LTR Diesel with 3.55 gears and get between 10.5 and 12 mpg and it all depends on speed and terrain. Traveling interstate around 70 mph or so we get more towards 10.5 to 11.

2014 Ram Cummins 3/4 ton - I generally get 9-11.5mpg. On accasion I’ve recoded 12.5mpg actual which i attributed it to a good batch of #2 and optimum conditions. Oh there was that one time towing westward through Missouri and Oklahoma into a 35-40mph head wind when I averaged 6.5mpg🤦 I tow a 2020 337 RLS.60-67mph.

I have 2020 Ford F-250 Lariat with the 6.7 Diesel 4X4 I am not sure what the rear ratio is I think it is 3.55, but I could be wrong. Towing my 2021 Solitude on flat terrain at 62 mph I get between 12 and 13mph. I use my cruse control set to 62 if the speed limit is 60 or over and 59 if the speed limit is 55. I think your truck is about 100lbs heavier than mine, but a Solitude 310 is heavier, wider, and taller than a Reflection 337, so I would think you should do better than me if you have a light foot on the accelerator.

On a recent 2000 trip with our 337RLS including a pretty hilly highway on the North side of Lake Superior, I calculated mileage at 10.7 mpg (the lie-o-meter on the truck was actually pretty close). I don't remember my axle ratio off the top of my head on my 2017 6.7 F350. I do between 60 and 65 mph.

I would probably get a lot better mileage if I would slow down below 65. Most of the time I try to keep it at 68 to 70 without the cruise on. It is just hard to drive slower when you are doing 10 hours a day because that additional 5MPH could add an additional hour to your day. But that is really good mileage with such a large camper. When I get the new camper I will have to experiment with different speeds to see how it affects the mileage.
Thanks for the information,

It seems pretty consistent that most are getting 10 to 11 MPG with the occasional 12 MPG. That really isn't much different than what we are currently getting. Unless you get some bad diesel like we just did coming back from Texas. We were getting a consistent 11 to 12 MPG then we filled up at a small Phillips 66 and the best I could get out of it was 9.2. I don't think they sell enough diesel to keep it fresh so I have learned a lesson, stay with the bigger truck stops because they sell enough diesel that it should be fresh.

2012 f-250 6.7
I have a 2012 F-250 Lariat pulling a 303 RLS, which would be similar in weight. Several years ago I transitioned from a 29 ft bumper pull to the 303 fifth wheel and assumed a different fuel mileage...but it really didn't make much difference. The fifth wheel is much easier to drive in crosswinds and being passed by or meeting semis however. My truck has a 6-speed versus your 10-speed transmission but I average 11+/- wind. I say that because with tailwind I have seen 13 and with headwind as low as 9. As someone else in this chain mentioned, my sweet spot for mileage is 65-67 mph. I usually set my cruise on 65 and may bump up to pass someone on the interstate, then resume 65 mph.
Good luck with the new trailer.2012 F-250 6.7L Diesel, SRW
