I had a big day today. I walked outside with my phone in my hand and fired up the app for the BMS that controls/monitors my DIY LiFePO battery to see how much charge the battery had in it. It was still at 83% SOC so I walked back into the house and stayed cool the rest of the day! Whew, this retirement stuff is hard on an old guy!

PS....the BMS on the batteries is Bluetooth connected to my phone and it's just a matter of being in range and firing up the app to see it.

    Hey @xrated

My day with the RV was exactly like yours... except

    I'm not retired
    I don't have LifePo batteries
    It's not that hot here

I was able to finish installing my new Victron SmartShunt

Replaced the bathroom faucet in our Imagine XLS 23bhe with one that is high enough to actually fit hands under it.... the factory one was merely 1 in above the upper rim of the sink, and super close to the back. $35 and 10min of work later, a bathroom sink that actually let's you wash your hands. What a revolution.

What faucet did you go with? This is one of the chief complaints my wife has about our trailer, so I need to do the same.

    Also, hello fellow PDXer.

Recently purchased the RVLOCK door lock, storage compartment locks and tumbler locks. replaced all locks and now only need 1 key to manually open any compartment or door. total install time was just about 2 hours. this was the easiest upgrade i have done so far.

Installed a new kitchen faucet. The spray on the old one no longer worked and DW wanted a different one. Also, finished spray painting the A/C covers white.

Installed a new bathroom faucet. Should have done that ages ago. Wife didn't like having to put her hands down inside the bowl to get under the water, so we got a taller one. Just a cheapie, nothing special: https://amazon.com/dp/B07Z67C583

5 minute job, if that. No extra fittings required, just unscrew the lines and the rings, then put the new faucet in place and do the process in reverse.

Hi, sorry for my late response. Seems you already got one and were smarter then me, as mine came with fixed hoses and a 3/8 connection, so I had to get 1/2 to 3/8 adapters.
    This is what I bought:

Thanks for responding anyway! I figured out after I asked that there was nothing too special about the fixture, just has to be 4 inches on center. My wife picked a faucet she liked, got lucky that it was a drop-in replacement -- that was not by design on our part .

I used to live out that way, but now I'm out in the Oregon City area. Moved closer to my parents years ago for the free babysitting and then I've stayed ever since.
