It might have been me, I think you found me the service manual for the Splendide 2100x. I started a thread years ago for my dryer vent install through the floor of our 399. I'm doing something similar with the 398, but the outlet will be different this time due to the changes in the underbelly design. On my 399, the garage wasn't fully insulated so the coroplast didn't cover the entire length of the RV whereas on my 398, the coroplast goes up until the gas tanks.

Got our rig up on our patio and plugged in. Might not seem like a lot but we took off Sunday at 10a for a three month trip to El Centro. Lots of snow and ice up here but we wanted to get out. Got about 20ft up our drive and, while trying to swing around our garage, hit a large rock buried in the snow and the RV slid just enough to hit the overhang on the garage. Lots of damage. Was able to get it to the south side of our house but was stuck in the snow. Three days later, after a bit of thaw and 150# of kittle litter was able to get it parked and unloaded. Insurance has been informed but I do not think we can get it in to the dealer for repair until maybe April. New f450 did good but dually's are not the best in snow and ice. It is snowing hard here and the Grand Mesa has about 19 ft of snow so far this season. We should have a nice run-off this spring. Local ham group has installed a digipeater on our 2 meter repeater in case we have to help the local sheriff with flash flood watch. Repeater is on our property at 7,200 ft. so we get great coverage.

Ouch! Hope everything goes FAST for y'all! Does your 450 have 4 wheel drive?

    EDIT: Changed how to hope!

Loaded the rig, adjusted tire pressures, loaded a bit of fresh water and go things ready to leave tomorrow for the Tampa Super Show.

Moonshadow 1911 -- yes, 450 is 4x4. Would not have gotten it on patio without that. That truck is so powerful!

For snow, you will want 3 2-3 sets of chains for the truck, and at least one chain for the trailer.
