I ordered a 4 step last night from e-trailer along with some new LED tail lights and a spring to close the screen door. I will let you know how I make out. The box that goes where the old steps were looks like a good idea. I was going to get a piece of metal from the factory and fabricate it in place to cover the hole but you can always use some more storage.Thank you to all of you that replied.

We chose another option.... I had the Glowstep by Torqlift. installed. Stability same as the solid step. It has three height adjustments and leg extensions for leveling on ground. Light weight, and easy to adjust. When stowing they remain under the camper and I don't have to worry about dumping dirt in my camper. I can access my camper in close places with a step stool (you are unable to do this with the solid step because it blocks the doorway.) Think they are worth a look. We love ours.

We have had the torklift steps for a couple of years now and really like them. Not bringing in the bugs or spiders that could be underneath the steps is nice too.

I'm not sure of the model. It was part of the build agreement that they install the torklift steps. They are the newest Revolution model.
