Rapid Jack use
Has anyone used one of those drive on rapid jacks on their Reflection?
I have a 29RS and am concerned that it won't lift the other wheel off the ground far enough to change tire.
Thank you

I have the same question. Also have 29RS.
Reading reviews on Amazon, a lot of reviewers said they didn't work and the flat tire stays on the ground. I was hoping someone here had actually tried one on a GD 5th wheel.
I measured from the ground to the spring mount box on my frame and get 22". Most bottle jacks max out at around 18" so it would take a tower of wood blocks to get the offending tire off the ground.

You would be better to use a bottle jack with a saddle and place under the axel between the u-bolts to lift the tire off the ground for changing.

Many use this, also good for servicing the brakes and bearings.

I have used both a home made rapid jack and a screw jack that came on my Dodge ram pickup. When I use the screw jack I always use a scrap of 2 x 8 about 10-12" long to go under the jack so it won't sink in the ground and it works great. The home made Rapid jack is made of a stack of (4) 2 x 12 's nailed together of varying lengths to make the ramp and it is the easiest and cleanest way to go. That way I never have to lay on the ground. I've always used it on 5th wheels and stock trailers even when the stock trailer was full of cattle and I'll guaranty you don't want to crawl under a stock trailer full of cattle then get back in the truck! LOL

Anyone use this Trailer aid plus? Seems to have high reviews at least for changing a tire.

I guess my only concern when using this type of "jack" is you put all the weight on one tire and axel when this is used. My fear would be causing some kind of unseen damage.
But these items being sold and many using them or have them for the "just in case" moment might be worth it.
