This reads like I'm a high-value male card + a horse's cousin (think about it for a sec) but in all seriousness--replace the inverter?

That is what I may have to do. I am looking at different options. The adds said it would work in RV's, and it was a good price. It stiill works, but I can't use the GFIC. The whole trailer is on GFIC when using the inverter.

There is a reset, on it .

This puts things a bit out of my league. If it was advertised as working on RV's I would be talking to them about a solution. Do not let anyone talk you into removing any GFCI protection in the trailer.
