297 RSTS Cam and Slam Locks

Have any of the fellow 297 RSTS owners changed the locks on the outside entertainment and front storage compartments? Only had the trailer 8 months and the locks are a PIA Spray them several times but the keys are hard to insert and the locks are less then perfect IMHO.

I find that on one of mine. The rest are fine. Much the same as the ones on my previous Rockwood and used them for 11 years. Be interesting to see what others have done though.

I replaced all the outside locks with ones from rv locks and more. I did this at the rally last year and got the slam latches and the barrel locks all keyed to my entrance door key.
I believe that you can do this on their web site. The barrel locks measure under the head of the lock to the end of the threads where the arm bolts on , this will give you the length you need.
It is really nice to have one key , instead of three.

A lot of us have done this change to a single key. RV Locks website is very easy to understand and use. From a standing start, I replaced all door and compartment locks in less than 30 minutes on my 379fl.
