On my 2019 Imagine 2800BH this is how it works and looks:
If your RV is equipped with the automatic two-stage regulator,
with both cylinders full of propane, turn the lever on the regu- lator towards the cylinder you
wish to use first. This will now be the supply cylinder and the other the reserve.
Slowly open both cylinder valves. When the supply cylinder is empty, the indicator will change to
red. Now turn the regulator lever to the reserve cylinder side. You may now remove the empty
cylinder to have it refilled without interrupting the flow from the full bottle. After filling the
cylinder, connect the pigtail
hose and slowly open the bottle valve.

Interesting. I *think* it works the same way (confusing myself?) but the regulator looks different on my Reflection. Mine has two windows, like a pinwheel.
With two flags, I assumed each pointed to the different tanks but that's not what I witnessed when the primary tank was empty. Both "flags" were red (as shown in the picture) even though the secondary tank was still full.

I have this same type in my Momentum. The way this works, the lever on top points to the on service tank, when that tank is empty the window will turn red and switch to the other tank. At that point you rotate the lever on top to the full one, and the window will turn green. You then have the ability to remove the empty tank to fill it up without losing propane availability to the camper.
