I have not done the math. But one needs to account for any differences in tire height between the 350-450 trucks to figure out if the same gear ratios would equal the same results. And just to muddy the water a little more, the 450 will weigh more, so it may be beneficial to gear it a little lower than a lighter 350, to get the same performance.

2021 F350DRW fully loaded Lariat
I have a 2021 F350DRW fully loaded Lariat, if that will help. Towing ~10,000 lbs with a 4:10 the take off from the red lights are amazing, you can and will beat most traffic if you choose to. I get 17 MPG not towing and 10-11 Towing. The N.C Mountains with 8% grades and switchbacks are not an issue at all and are easily overcome. Payload is 5256lbs.

FWIW my F450 Lariat with every possible option except the moonroof has a stickered payload of 4844.
My advice to anyone trying to make a decision between the F350 dually and F450 is " GET - THE - 450!!! ". The advantage of having the wide-track front end's turning radius can't be overstated. My prior truck was an F350 SRW short bed, and the F450 is easier to maneuver than the F350 was. The brakes are also noticeably better too (larger swept area/pads).
If you plan on a lot of driving while unloaded there are a few downsides to consider though. You can't air down the commercial tires so the unloaded ride will be stiffer. And the 450 is only available with 4:30 gears, so unloaded highway mileage will suffer. When you're hooked up and loaded though it's awesome.John and Vicki

@Jerryr you saved me $6,404 with your post. Local dealers are stubbornly at MSRP to MSRP+$10k. I chose Granger, given where I am.
If our paths ever cross, I owe you a beer!
Much appreciated, friend.Larry and JoAnna

This is a very interesting thread, as I also looking to upgrade my truck to a dually. But I think the 450 is overkill.

The 2022 6.7L F350 DRW only offers the 3:55 & 4.10 rear end rations.

This is very interesting as I am looking at this particular truck and it say it has a 3.73 gear ratio in the Mechanical tab.

Maybe it's wrong.
