Marcy and Gary - yup it catches all of us in some eventually. Experienced RVrs like you two handle these bumps in the road with no problem.
Maybe that new trailer searching will step up in earnest now lol ! Carol and I along with you and Gary (and a number of other long time GDRV owners) have been communicating for years on our next replacement RV for our 303s/other models but these original coaches have been pretty darn reliable and we love the floor plan/storage/much more/etc.
I can see it now, a new thread with pictures of the new RV in the next few weeks !

Lol @attaboy and @Canyonlight.. we did make a comment that maybe it's time to move into a new trailer.. by the time we fix it the urge would either get stronger or just go away. We made it to today's stop with no new issues so maybe that's it for this trip.
Funny part is when we signed up for the rally (our next trip) we had nothing to put on the 3 item list.. wonder if they'll do the water system on last min notice. The suspension and tire replacement are a must do b4 we go any place else.. what a great job for my son, he's a mechanic.Marcy & Gary

Thanks so much!
We have made it into the northern area of Ohio and are about to take the last few hours or so of the trip. The repair ,while not with correct replacement parts (find parts @ about 5 PM...lol) we were extremely happy to find a mobile tech that was willing to come help us and do what he could to get us rolling. We stop and check and also watch our speed. The temp fix has held up quite well so far. The tech was out of Corbin and he got to us in Williamsburg in less than an hour.
This last leg is the scariest part...Michigan roads are not the greatest. We'll be taking 23 around Toledo as opposed to I 75.. 23 while not perfect it's in much better shape than 75 and only adds about 10 mins to the drive.Marcy & Gary

Hi Marcy and Gary,
Sorry to her about your troubles. We have a 2019 Reflection 303 and love it. We have a lot of miles on it. But I hear these axle and suspension problems on the forum and wonder when it’s our turn???
Been doing yearly checks of the following:
1. Lubrication of the wheel bearing and replace the rear seal.
2. Lubricate the suspension and bolts before every long distance trip.
3. Visually inspect the suspension welds when lubing the suspension.
Since I am a certified welder and Retired Mechanical Engineer the welds look good. But you never know for sure!
Please attach pictures if you have them.
I’ve often thought the metal is thin and subject to fatigue! Thought I might sketch up some reimbursement gussets.
Anything else I’ve missed?
Did your service Technician have any ideas to reinforce the area?
Thanks for sharing with us!!
Tom
