options
I am curious if there were options for this model of RV. Such as double pane windows, heat pump, etc. when we bought our solitude no options were mentioned to us.

Jeff and Kathy. Shame on your dealer for not mentioning the available options. Click on the link below, and on the right hand column, you'll see the options available for the Solitude. Note that some of them are "mandatory", so I'm not sure why they list them as options.

This is so frustrating. I wish I had known about options earlier. For some reason the dealership doesn't even know we exist now. Do the options come from the factory or from the dealer?

Fred,
Was your trailer already on your dealer's lot when you purchased it? If so, it was too late to add any factory options. If you ordered it, you should have been given a list of available factory options and their cost. I ordered my Reflection 337 and selected the king bed option.
Dealers can also add items when they receive the trailer. A bedroom air would be a common dealer installed item or a hitch installed. These should be considered and the price agreed upon when ordering a trailer.Robert & Sheila, Amarillo, TX

If you are ordering a new unit, there is quite a list of options you can add.
If it is a stock unit on a dealer's lot, you get what they ordered, with the exception of what they can add at their dealership.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

Thermopane windows are kind of a mandatory option around here. If they are available, dealers won't order units without them unless you demand single pane.

this was a stock unit on the lot, darn it. Would it be expensive to add a heat pump now?

It takes a whole new A/C unit.
