    1. On our 2018 Solitude with its SECOND Norcold fridge that pin sometimes sticks down and needs to be flicked to stand up and engage properly. Probably worth a double-check before travel.

    2. After just a few months we had to add a washer under the left hand door to raise it on its hinge pin, so it's not surprising to see reports by @Second Chance and @redspeed3` that the right hand door eventually needs the same repair. Someone here has warned that we should not store anything at all weighty in the doors since their bottom edge is not robustly-built.

    3. Prior to any travel we use generous lengths of 2" masking tape to tape most cabinets and drawers closed, which has eliminated surprises we often got on arrival. Two or three strips across the front of the fridge might help with your problem.

My outside fridge pops open when we travel. Or it did. On our last trip my nephew said he had that issue on his outside fridge. He used Velcro on it. I did the same and on the ride home (3.5 hours from update NY to North Central Pa) no issues anymore. This would probably work on your inside fridge as well. But... there are several seemingly good fixes posted already Might be helpful in other ways though.

I use two quick release straps, one for the freezer and one for the ref. Each end connects to the wall with screws and it has a quick release with adjustable strap. It also serves to keep the ref in place and does't let it tip will in transit.
