Will Coronavirus change your RV summer plans ??

We're going to be heading out for our first weekend camping trip of the season this week. I stopped at Costco last night to get groceries, including some bottled water to take camping. No luck - the panic buyers have wiped out the bottled water and toilet paper! Misguided reaction to the Coronavirus is making it difficult to find camping supplies. Hopefully folks will come to their senses soon.

Bottled water makes me laugh....because the water utilities will shut down due to a virus.....not a natural disaster that will take out infrastructure lol

With new breakouts of Coronavirus showing up daily is anyone else reconsidering their plans, where to go what functions to attend? I just left Florida staying on the west and then east coasts. A day after I left Tampa a case was reported in the area. More have come up since. If you have been reading it's the older folks that are more severely affected. It seems to me a good many that frequent this forum fall into that description. Central Florida and the state in general is overrun with blue hairs now. Because I'm not real proactive at planning I had to stay at the LazyDays Resort and they pack 'em in there.
How about some thoughts, concerns or devil may care attitudes.

Concern, yes. Raging panic, no. We will be working at a Tulip festival in Oregon May/June. Interacting with people 2-3 times a week that have traveled . We plan using the same process we always use. When handling money or touching people wash hands or use disinfectant gel. Maintain ample personal space. Avoid people with the sniffles and or coughing. If we get sick stay home.

It's just data from the CDC so people can compare seasonal flu to this new virus. Again, it's for perspective which his sorely lacking right now. You can draw whatever conclusions you want from the data.

The number in the report for deaths is 18,000 not 180,000 .

You are correct. Not sure how my copy and paste failed. Sheesh. Even 18,000 is a huge number.
