I got that one figured out quite by accident. The grocery store has been running out of sanitary wipes at the cart station so I have taken to putting a couple in a baggie and stuffing that into my pocket, so after I couldn't the vegetable baggie to open I wiped my lips and tongue down with the sanitizer wipes, waited four minutes, and then licked my fingers. ... Ok, not really, I moistened my finger from wipes in the baggies....
It's raining today and DW promised she was going to clean the bathroom while I was at the grocery store. I get home, bathroom was untouched. But she did have a glass of wine and had completed her second poem.
Paradise Prison (aka Harris Beach State Park) Update:
Still trapped in paradise prison
We’ve been here for more than a month
But it is a nice place
And we also feel safe
So we can’t complain too much.
I wake up in the morning
Two fur lumps at my side
It makes my heart pitter patter
And swell a ton with pride.
My face is smothered with kisses
My toes are playfully attacked
I get up to use the bathroom
And find the toilet paper has again been ransacked.
It’s breakfast time KC cries
Food and water I supply.
After watching my two rescue pets
In a playful interlude
I sit down to eat some food
Now slightly in a better mood.
The coronavirus has revised our life
But the pets don’t seem to care
They are rather ecstatic
That we hardly go anywhere.
The state park is now officially closed
Absolutely no visitors allowed
The governor has issued the rule
We cannot attract a crowd.
We walk the empty beaches
And hike on forest trails
The pets express their contentment
With bright eyes and wagging tails.
Kota likes to chase the deer
And KC climbs the trees
They both will chase the birds away
Because they’re such a tease.
Painting, leaf blowing and mowing
Have become our daily chores
And if help is needed elsewhere
We volunteer for more.
I’ve been trying out new recipes
Some taste good, some are bad
I still crave a restaurant dinner
But there’s not one to be had.
At twilight we build a campfire
It’s toasty warm and bright
It helps with relaxation
And to lighten up the night.
Every day is mostly the same
But my hopes will not crumble
As I believe that someday soon
There will be light at the end of the tunnel.Dallas

@D2Reid Dallas,
Since the beginning of this we’ve taken disinfectant wipes into any establishment. They’re wet enough to last as long as we’re there. After I wipe down the cart handle, I keep the ones we brought under my hands, tooling through the store. They tend to stay put on the handle as you add items to the cart, unless Bruce comes along behind and decides to “catch up” to me with the cart! Went back 2 aisles to find the wipe. At the start, I waved my wipes at a greeter handing them out. As time went by, I used the store wipe to wipe down the handle, but still use our own to shop. By the time you need to, opening the plastic bags is not a problem. Soggy, damp hands are a good thing.

Working in health care, not much bothers me, but that image did. Flat out nasty.
