    Sorry, I was going off other post/YouTube where folks stated they picked it up at the factory. Maybe it was long ago.

    They have never allowed trailers to be picked up from factory when buying. If they take the trailer back for some service then they would go there to pick them up.

    Wow, I wish the freight to California was that low. Freight cost for ours was well over $4,000. I think it's excessive but it's not out of line with costs to other parts of the country.

    I ordered my Solitude from Lazy Days. Since they have dealers all over the country (mostly), I had my choice of delivery locations. I could have picked it up in Tucson (I live in NM) and paid over $3000 in freight. I choose to pick it up in Knoxville and paid just under $1000. For $2k less I got a week's vacation in Tennessee and still had money left over. RVs are not like cars. Freight charges vary by distance from the factory.
