Hitch and harness done
Got the 5th slider wheel hitch I ordered on Thursday and with the help of my daughter and my dentist even stopped by and gave a hand we installed everything on Sat. The installation wasn't bad and took about 6 hr, didn't get in a rush and took our time. The worst issue was where some of the bolts for the hitch went above the frame, you almost had to be a contortionist to get to them. Good thing my daughter was helping, I'd never gotten my hands in between the frame and bed where it attached near the gas tank. The wiring harness for the lights was a breeze, just felt strange drilling a 2" hole in the bed of the truck for the new plug.
If all goes well we take in the TT on Monday and pick up the 303Tommy & Elaine Thornton

When I was installing the Curt custom frame mounts, I expected to have more than 1 hole on each side to meet up with the holes on my frame. It was a dirty job drilling 2-3 holes for each bolt--and installing the air bags at the same time.
Glad you installed your hitch so easily.

The bolts over the fuel tank on my B&W rails were brutal to get a socket on, thankfully we could use an air ratchet on most. The boxed frames on these trucks makes it interesting to say the least. I have always installed my hitches and in bed harness. I usually do my bed drilling before I get my liner sprayed.

You're right about those bolts, what a pain. I would have done all this first before doing the bed liner but when we bought the truck it was to replace the 2002 Tahoe that we used as a tow vehicle for our 25' TT and really had no intention of getting a 5th wheel this early. But it is what it is.
