We're the odd man out. With the 5th wheel hitched we lose 150# off the front axle, 5500# static front axle weight, 5350# when 5th wheel hitched. 100# off the left front and 50# off the right front with a pin weight of 3700# at the time of weighing. Not too worried about it, the truck steers fine. Right now our companion hitch is set to "over the rear axle", as soon as i get around to it I'll change the arms to "in front" of the rear axle. That will put some of the loaded weight back on the front axle. Still have 435# left front an 385# on right front tire load available to max of 3085# tire capacity at 70psi.

Don't forget that as you add cargo and or water to the trailer (ie full fresh water or full waste tanks) the front axle will change. Been 11 years since I did a load shift problem, but you could figure the added or lost front axle weight.

I just weighed my whole outfit last week at a CAT scale at Railroad Casino truck stop just outside Henderson Nevada. I have the 2020 Solitude 372WB and truck and trailer were fully loaded for travel. I was surprised the front axle only added 60 pounds with a pin weight of 3,000 pounds. I have the Pullrite 4400 Traditional Superglide hitch on standard rails so pin was directly over rear axle. I departed happy to know I was under my weight limitations on all fronts but were close on a couple.

I don't own a fifth wheel, but the amount of weight added or subtracted to the front axle is a simple math equation of a lever. If the pin weight is directly over the rear axle, it will not affect the front axle. The rear axle will carry 100% of the load. If your pin sits 6 inches forward it will add load to the front axle, proportional to the distance to each axle. For example a 1000lb hitch sitting 6 inches forward, if it is 10 feet from the front axle would be about 50lbs added to the front axle ( 10' / 0.5'). If it sits behind the rear axle 6 inches and for the sake of easy math is still 10' from the front axle, it would subtract 50lbs from the front axle. As far as how much off the front axle is too much? I don't know if there is a magic number, but I would weight the truck completely empty and load stuff in front of the front axle to get that weight as close back to the original weight as possible. I pull a travel trailer (23BHE) and my front axle looses 100lbs when towing. That's just the difference of the camper hooked up vs not. That weight was taken with the truck loaded with passengers. I need to weigh it with just me in it, i'm guessing that with my passengers and all my gear, the front axle is experiencing about the same amount of load. Chances are that if your truck is sitting level, you're probably ok. I'm not a fifth wheel guy, but there may be adjustment to move the pin back, that would shift the weight forward just a little. Though if you have a short bed this may cause clearance issues.
