Hello all. Picking up my new 2022 21BHE tomorrow and was hoping for any last minute things to evaluate to check that consistently are an issue. Love the floorplan and the compact size. Build seems solid. Thanks again in advance!

Congrats and Welcome!

Some things you definitely want to verify on your PDI

1. No water leaks. Run the water pump, connect to water source and make sure city water works. Turn on water heater, make sure it works and no leaks there
2. Heater works and goes on and if at set temp
3. AC works and goes on and off at set temps
4. Call dealer and ask them to turn in fridge the day before you pick it up to make sure it gets cold
5. All doors open and close
6. Bed stays up with struts(struts we’re bad on my PFI)
7. All electronics work TV and fireplace if equipped
8. Electric stabilizer jacks if equipped
9. Tongue Jack (mine was also bad at PDI)
10. All slides work nice and smooth and don’t gouge the floor.
11. Solar if equipped
12. Inverter if equipped
13. All propane items work (you treated the wh and heater already, check stove)
14. Microwave
15. 7 pin connector
16. Tires , wheels and suspension
17. Low point drains
18. Tank dump valves
19. Awnings
20. Exterior driving lights

Those are some of the biggies. In am sure others will chime in with more. There are PDI lists out there on out stickies.

Just look at general build quality. Some more things I just thought of.

1. Make sure all trim is solid, nothing loose
2. All windows operate properly
3. Blinds go up and down full length properly
4. Cabinet doors open and close properly and are lined up
5. If you have the theater seats the heat and massage function works
6. Climb on roof and check for obvious signs of damages or incorrect installation of roof membrane, check dicor.
7. Fans open close and work properly
8. On the outside look for obvious problems structurally and with the gel coat
9. All storage doors work and lock properly

Congrats and welcome to the group. @Redapple63 just gave you some really good advice. Take all the time that you need and don't let the dealer pressure you before you hand over that check. It's much easier to get them to fix any findings before they get your money. There's a few PDI check created by our members on here. Just do a search and they should pop up.
