Strange ... Solar Package MANDATORY?

Just looked at the 303RLS. The cost is $2130 for the solar package. It’s a mandatory option, whatever that term is supposed to mean.

Kind of an oxmoron isn't it.. mandatory negates the word "option" . Most consumers know they aren't giving you this for free. Why don't they just list it in what is included .

It includes the fridge....

Solar package is priced differently on the different lines. Imagine is different from Solitude, Transcend, etc.

You are preaching to the choir....I've been pestering them for the last 8 years about that.

I think I know why. Some states like AZ place a tax on the registration which is based on the Base price without options. Listing things as options even though they are mandatory lowers the registration. This can amount to a LOT of money. I know it worked for us that way. And I have noticed that many RV manufacturers are doing this.
