    Alexa

Has anyone installed Alexa in their RV, it should be fairly easy when plugged
into 120 volt, but how about dry camping??? I read somewhere that you could
attach an echo dot to a USB connection???

Power is the easy part. Having WiFi available is the more difficult job.

I have a watch that grumps at me and I have a truck and car that grumps at me -- I do not need Alexa to grump at me.

Can I use my IPhone 11 to create a hot spot and then use a 110
to USB adapter for power?? I'm referring to an Echo Dot which
is very small and does not require much power.

You can use your phone as a hotspot for an Echo. Just understand that the phone you use has to be close and you can’t automatically jump to another phone if you leave the area.

The Echo Dot uses 12V, so you can’t power it via USB.
