I drilled in a stainless screw behind one of the locking lugs to stop the quick connect from turning.

I just put the Valterra on our Momentum, and it does fit really tight. I don't believe it is going to come off, and for $8, not that big of a deal if it does.

My 2 Cents I have a 344GK Had the bottom open for repairs the kitchen tank sits about a foot higher than the shower tank. In order to use the upper tank as extended capacity will put the vent of the lower tank under water. kitchen tank sits on rails of upper frame shower sits on lower frame. all being said 344GK and 310GK should be the same.

I combined the (2) gray tanks and (2) discharges into one.

We got one of those 28gal rolling totes to dump during stays, but would prefer to connect the tanks if possible. I was thinking we'd have to run PVC from the shower gray to the kitchen gray and have it slightly downhill.

You can buy 2 sewer caps that have garden hose nipples on them. To connect them you need a female to female garden hose, I made mine from pond or water feature hose - 3/4" diameter, light, and it coils easily for storage.

Not sure how that would work.

I also thought about doing this but opted for the more permanent fix.
It works because with the 2 tanks hooked up, water will seek its own level so the tank with the most water will have a higher head pressure and the water will flow to the other tank until both tanks have the same head pressure (Level. This method doesn't address having to drain each tank from separate dump valves.

I noticed the 2 gray tanks on my 2970 are also not on the same level. Mine are probably about 6 inches different as one is at 3 lights before the other one comes off the "empty" light. I discovered this when I was swapping out the valve on the kitchen tank, which is the lower one on my camper.

Mine has never come off after years of use, but to stop the valve from spinning when attaching or removing the sewer hose, I added a hose clamp which was angled so that it was half on the valve and half on the pipe.
