I had that on a previous trailer, it ended up being the slide rubber rubbing tightly on the window seal rubber. There was a window in the slide wall.
However, from your other comments on the noise I don't think this would be the case with your trailer.
Perhaps your slide is a little off centre? A little to the left or right of where it should be? If the dealer doing the previous slide adjustment was a tad disgruntled...maybe they rushed the job a bit?

Per Lippert, do not lubricate the teeth on the rack and pinion gear of a rack and pinion through frame system. Lube is ONLY used at the bearings on each side of the pinions (four bearings, two for each pinion). The teeth only need to be kept clean using Dawn soap and water, similar to Schwintek.

I have not and will check into this. What kind of lube did you use here?
BTW, I'm pretty sure it is a Schwintek.

I like the one that was shown in that video, the one with PFTE or whatever its called. You need to have the slide out. From there, you crawl underneath and need to pull the seals, I say seals, because there are two that kind of overlap. My slid has four rollers. I shoot each side of the roller. Then go in and move the slide in and back out the get the lube worked in.

Can you link to your source for clarification?

The In-Wall Slidehttps://www.bing.com/images/search?v...=0&vt=0&sim=11 spur gears are directly driven by the torque drive shafts and do not have plain or roller bearings. They do fit between two bearing block surfaces though, which locate them vertically and locate motor output.

My comment doesn’t apply to Schwintek, only to “through frame” type electric and hydraulic mechanisms. The source is Lipperts training video, which I can’t link to. However, you can register to take the course on Lipperts website.
