If you asking me its a new generation CP4 but Ford is not having the same issues as others. There is also a disaster proof kit (plug and play from S&S Diesel) available that prevents contamination from getting to the engine or tank in the case of failure. I am looking into adding it, but concerned about voiding warrenty.

Really have no idea. Who is Denso? I have only heard of Bosch before.

I suggest you call Ford customer service or a local Ford dealer for the correct answer. All I know is Ford required changes be made to the pump for 2022 per my dealer service department.
Please post back what you find.

    Safe travels

That is funny. If Ford is not having problems, then why is an aftermaket company making a Disaster proof kit for it?

Bosch makes the CP4 which is in the Ford. Denso is what is in the GM/Chevy. RAM uses the Bosch CP3, and is recalling the CP4's in the 2019/20 to change them to the CP3.

*Chevy/GM use to use the Bosch, but changed to the Denso in 2017.

Go to a single axle diesel, 2020 or newer is over 20k rating. I am pulling a 395, and yes maybe i should have a dually but mine is an everyday driver.

The only disaster kit I see on that site is for the FORD.
Must be because FORD doesn't need such a kit
