When we got our Air-Safe hitch I had asked Air-Safe if I should get a new air pin box at the same time. They told me no because of the design of the Air-Safe hitch it was not needed. They said the Air-Safe hitch will take out 95% of the chucking and banging.

Yeah, I don't see any reason to have both since they do similar things.

I too removed the RotoFlex and installed a MorRyde. I also installed air bags. Now it is a much better ride. It's too bad we have to spend a few more $$s to make these improvements after all we spent just getting the truck and RV but I guess it goes with the territory....

I wonder if with the air hitches such as the Hensley BD3 and BD5, you’re better going “bigger”? In other words if the bd3 is within specs for your fifth wheel you might still take the bd5 for the extra air bag and extra shocks?..

Put a Reese Goose neck on the coach. I had two customers change to the goose neck hitch a 375 and a 2800BH, both customers called to tell me how nice the towing was. The nice thing is as soon as you you disconnect the coach you have full use of your box again with nothing heavy to move. Also no warranty issues.

If it was not safe people would not transport expensive horses. You don’t see a 5th wheel hitch on a horse trailer.
