    although if you weigh and then go and drop the trailer and try to re-weigh the lack of trailer will throw an error in the app.
    That never happened to me. Hmmmmmm

    I didn't get am error in app when I dropped the trailer and re weighed. Just had to pay $3. Click image for larger version.

    Trying to find chart or spreadsheet or calculator on here to figure my numbers out now.

    Looked up my Vin on Ram site
    My truck numbers
    Max payload 5,460.8
    Max towing 19,760.8
    Door sticker
    GVWR 14,000
    GAWR Front 6,000
    With rear 9,750
    Fifth Wheel numbers
    GVWR 13,995
    GAWR 6,000 per axle 12,000 all axels
    UVW 10,828
    Left side weight 4,480
    Right side weight 3,920

    Numbers at cat scale with my wife, me, two dogs Reese hitch, full 50 gallons fuel in truck.

    Camper with our usual things inside, 25 gal water, 2 30lb propane. One 1/3 full two portable generators on trailer hitch.
    Steer Axle 5400
    Drive Axle 6460
    Trailer Axle 9680
    Total Axle 21,540

    Truck without trailer
    Steer Axle 5380
    Drive Axle 4000
    Trailer 00
    Total Axle 9380

    Explaining all this now may help me and I'm sure many others.

    KD, try using this one. It is from one of the Vloggers I follow. Chad is a pretty smart guy when it comes to this topic. Post your calculations when you are done. It looks like you are well within all your limits. But I think you may need to figure out the weight of your truck without any cargo in it. Then I think you have all the data you need.

    The Understanding RV Weights linked to that page is about the best I’ve seen. A lot of people have a very hard time explaining it as well as that.

    KD, this is NOT the calculator I meant to post. Please check out "Changing Lanes"'s website and Blog. They have recently upgraded their calculator and it is very comprehensive.
